This ambitious project aims to support Saudi Arabia’s aspirations by establishing a world-class aviation hub for international, regional, and domestic travel. KSIA will serve as a bridge between East and West, a unique place for both visitors and residents, and a gateway to a new era of travel defined by sustainability, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional passenger care.

King Salman International Airport will be located to the North of Riyadh on an extended area adjacent to the existing King Khaled International Airport. The development will cover a total area of approximately 57km2 and include six runways, six terminals, an iconic terminal for travelers and non-travelers, royal terminal, private aviation terminal, cargo and logistics hub, and a real-estate area.

King Salman International Airport is more than just an airport; it is a symbol of Riyadh's ambitions and a key driver for the city's transformation into a global hub for business, tourism, and culture. Riyadh's population is growing, and tourism is a booming industry as Saudi Arabia diversifies its economy. King Salman International Airport is being developed to meet the city's future demands in these areas. It will be able to handle this increased volume of visitors, making it easier for people to come to Riyadh; this will contribute to Riyadh's economic growth.

King Salman International Airport is set to become a major driver of tourism and trade in Saudi Arabia, fostering economic diversification in line with Vision 2030. It will have the capacity to serve up to 100 million travelers by 2030, rising to an optimal operational capacity of 185 million passengers and 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050. This will elevate Riyadh’s status as an international destination and strengthen the country’s aviation sector. KSIA will drive growth in the airport services and logistics sector, creating opportunities for local businesses and jobs for the community.
